Hone your archery skills at MDC’s archery hunting simulation Sept. 10 in Monroe City

MONROE CITY, Mo. – Prepare for the upcoming archery hunting season with the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) at a free Bow Hunting Warm Up event Thursday, Sept. 10 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Frank Russel Rec Area at Mark Twain Lake.
Participants must bring their own bows and arrows, and they are asked to only bring field point arrows, not broadheads. MDC staff will offer different hunting scenarios such as shooting from blinds or elevated positions that simulate a hunt in the field. They will also be available to provide help with shooting technique.
This event is for participants over the age of 15. Register at http://short.mdc.mo.gov/oGg.
